Pandemic Year – home studio artist in residence. I took multiple virtual courses this last pandemic year, one of which was through Anderson Ranch with artists David Hilliard and Andrea Wallace – two great photographers both creating works centered around personal relationships. I ended up photographing myself, and my laundry. Not dirty laundry but the things I keep, shuffle around, then wash and repeat. The monotony of the mundane buried me this last year while being homebound. This new photography adventure helped pull me out.
