Throwing on the Pottery Wheel

Develop foundational pottery wheel skills in this five-day intensive workshop. Participants will learn the essential techniques of centering, opening, and throwing cylinders on the wheel. While the primary emphasis is developing strong centering skills, students will apply multiple ceramic construction techniques to create a finished vessel.

All clay, glazing materials, and kiln firings are included in the workshop fee. An additional glazing session will be scheduled following the workshop (date to be announced).

This workshop is open to beginners as well as students with previous wheel-throwing experience. Enrollment is limited to four participants to ensure individualized instruction and ample time on the wheel.
