Throwing on the pottery wheel, afternoon session:

Develop foundational pottery wheel skills in this five-day intensive workshop. Participants will learn the essential techniques of centering, opening, and throwing cylinders on the wheel. While the workshop introduces the full process of wheel throwing, particular attention is given to mastering the centering process. Students will also learn multiple ceramic construction techniques and will have the opportunity to create a finished vessel.

All clay, glazing materials, and kiln firings are included in the workshop.

This workshop is open to beginners as well as students with previous wheel-throwing experience. Enrollment is limited to four to five participants to ensure individualized instruction and ample time on the wheel.
